Submission of contributions

Scientific results can be presented either as an oral presentation or as a poster. Please use the registration form to submit your contribution. You can enter up to three submissions on the registration form. If more than three submissions are required, please contact the office the DGaaE.

Format

The speaking time for oral presentations is 15 minutes plus 5 minutes of discussion. The computers provided for the presentations are equipped with PowerPoint 2010-2013 / Windows 7 or 10. Your presentations are best brought along on a USB data medium.

The maximal size of poster is 120 cm high and 85 cm wide. As fixation adhesive film will be used.

Publication in the “Mitteilungen der DGaaE”

The DGaaE offers speakers the opportunity to publish their contributions in the series “Mitteilungen der Deutschen Gesellschaft für allgemeine und angewandte Entomologie”. The author’ guidelines you will find here.

Please send your manuscript to Joachim Händel or hand your data file over to the congress office.

Congress fees

You can register your participation with the regular fees until January 15^th, 2025:

The reduced prices apply to students, PhD students, trainees, and pensioniers. Of course it is possible to become a DGaaE member and pay the correspondingly lower conference fee. The first year is non-contributory for new members joining at the conference.

For registrations from January 16^th, 2025 the following fees will be charged:

The congress fees include the participation at the Icebreaker (March 17^th) and catering during the coffee breaks.

The Social evening will take place on March 19^th, 2025.
