International Symphyta Workshop

Since 1997, workers from all German-speaking countries meet at the International Symphyta Workshop to discuss topics of sawfly research. The workshop was initiated by Dr. Andreas Taeger and Dr. Stephan M. Blank to facilitate cooperation with colleagues on the manuscript of the Pflanzenwespen Deutschlands (Sawflies of Germany). It resulted in a now regular meeting of 10-15 people; the previous workshops were held
